Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It's good to have a three days off from school. I was getting a little exhausted (already. lol). I stayed in and rented a movie: How Did I Get Married, which was actually hilarious and heartfelt. I really enjoyed. I think Tyler Perry is really improving. I mean, I liked his other movies, but I liked them a bit more as stage plays. But, How Did I Get Married was actually a pretty quality movie, in my opinion. Definitely inspires me to keep writing.

Aw, and speaking of stage plays...RENT is coming to an end on June 1, 2008. Gosh, I SO badly want to go see it! I've been wanting to see it for years. I'm going to cry SO hard on June 1.

V-Day

Happy Valentine's Day to one and all! I hope everyone has a great time today with whomever you're with. Tonight, I'll be going out with my single friends to dinner and a movie. We're going to see Spiderwick. Looks cute!

I'm so happy right now! I just downloaded OpenOffice and it's totally compatible with my Microsoft Word files!

About a month ago, we had a huge blackout in my town and, as a result, our computer stopped working! We thought it was broken, but we had to do a system recovery and it began to work again, but it wiped out a lot of our programs, including Microsoft Office. Well, I had a lot of stories I'd been working on saved in the computer and on a flash drive, and they were passworded (is that a word?) so I couldn't open them with Microsoft Works.

But I just downloaded this FREE and LEGAL program called OpenOffice that works with MS Office documents! I'm SO excited! Everyone should try it if you're looking for something similar to MS Office. It takes a while to download (like 20-30 minutes. Well, for me anyway), but it's totally worth it!
